
Pioneer Village Day Camps
All camps for 7 - 15 year olds.
Camps can fill quickly so fill out a separate form for each camper and send the registration material along with the class fee to reserve your child/children's spot. In the event a summer camp does not meet minimum required registration, your registration fee will be returned.
Cost is $85 for each child per camp. Camps run from 9 AM to 4 PM.
($75 for children or grandchildren of members of the Barron County Historical Society).
Each child should bring a sack lunch, water bottle and sun screen (opt).

Native American Heritage - July 15 - 17
Explore the history/culture of Native Americans in northwest Wisconsin from the 1800's to today.
Campers will learn to:

Do traditional Ojibwe crafts
Frontier Life Camp - July 19 - 31
Introduces children to daily life on the frontier.
Campers will learn:

Survival skills from the frontier

How basic shelter was created

Tools of frontier life

To cook over a fire
This camp overlaps the Rendezvous Event and gives campers a chance to meet and learn from frontier re-enactors.
Civil War - June 16 - 18
Learn about the life of a Union soldier.
Campers will learn to:

Pioneer Living - July 7 - 9 and Aug. 11 - 13
Great for Laura Ingalls Wilder fans, or anyone who wants to learn more about Wisconsin’s settlers. Late 1900's - Early 1800's
Campers will learn to:
