The Barron County Historical Society would like to  invite your school to participate in our Annual School Tour/End of the Year Field Trip Program.

To reserve your tour, please print, complete, and return the School Tour Form at your earliest convenience.

 

Picnic tables are available, if your group wants to bring a sack lunch. 

 

If groups want to take part in a

• scavenger hunt

• play an game of vintage baseball

• reserve the one-room school house for an hour

let us know we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Students are encouraged to dress in period costumes.  The museum offers a small prize to the students who come in 1880s garb. Students and the volunteers really enjoy this.  

 

Students can also:

• tour the museum grounds

• walking back through history

• chat with the volunteers

• enjoying a picnic lunch under the pines

• make and purchase jump ropes for $1.00

It's a great way to spend the day with the class.

 

After the visit, students will receive a Complimentary Pass to return to the Museum at a future date.
